Quality Education

Quality education can be understood as an education that engages multiple aspects of a learner. It is a holistic approach to learning that looks beyond content delivery and considers the development of children into active and productive members of society.

We believe all children deserve access to quality education but understand that societal inequalities prevent some children from having these opportunities. In 2018, around 260 million children were still out of school (SDGS), with over half of the worldwide adolescent population still not meeting minimum proficiency standards for reading and mathematics.

In addition to this, the recent impact of the pandemic has exacerbated these issues and has contributed to further rising inequalities. By April 2020 “close to 1.6 Billion children and youth were out of school” - SDGS.org.

In response to this growing concern, UPP Global will be hosting online classes for free, with youth from different countries and ages. Our team consists of multiple experienced teachers who are dedicated to helping improve the lives of all children, regardless of their situation.

Starting with online English classes, our team seeks to provide quality education for all youth, including those who don't have the funds or access to such opportunities. Due to the rising threat of COVID-19, we believe online education is a positive response that allows us to reach a wider range of youth. Our online classes connect and educate youth from different countries in the same online classroom.

** Demo Lessons for this project are now over. Please check back to this page for updates about the official start of the project online, in July 2021.
